It’s Not Selfish to Make Self Care a Priority

At several of my speaking engagements over the last few months, there has been a reoccurring theme from many of the attendees. They feel if they add “self-care” on their calendar and in their routine, they are being selfish.

And I shared with them and I want to encourage you… it’s not self to make self care a priority.

We have to stop giving to others from our fumes. Just like a care that’s running low on gas, there’s only so far you can go before your tank is empty and you run out of gas.

When we serve others from an empty cup, we are more likely to have some sense of resentment. This is why we must fill our own cups FIRST.

When we give to ourselves FIRST, we can then give to others from our place of abundance.

What the full video and share in the comments below the 1-2 things you are going to do for yourself to fill your cup.
